Pippa’s paintings of the Cote D’Azure are all captured en plein air. This method, technique allows her to grab these moments from her surroundings. As she paints, she edits and condenses what is really there to show you what she sees. By capturing ‘the now’ in this way, she communicates in her own language how she experiences the world. There is vibrancy, colour, light, love and above all, a sacred appreciation for life, that is expressed though her paintings of Cote d’Azur. The light of the southern French coast seeps into every work.
